Through the use of emotives and Redford's internal dialogues the album seeks to illustrate the intersection of free will and prescribed destiny as it plays out 'on the corner'. Utilizing a reverse narrative arc, the album begins as the listener finds Redford disoriented--postmortem--and attempting to make sense of his former life. Its Fucking Boring To Death Veterano	# abr/12 · votar Esse baterista do the roots é muito bom e isso não se discute. Mas a gente vê que antes de tudo é um músico... que toca rap. Aliás toca muito melhor em outros projetos fora que já ouvi, como neste, participando do trampo do Booker T. No The Roots ele manda bem tb, mas tem que se conter não pode soltar toda sua musicalidade... até pra coisa continuar soando como rap.

E ele produziu todo o CD, que mto bem mixado... O cara é fudido... O black thought tbm é absurdamente bom, o timbre dele é um absurdo de foda, o punch dele nao so no rap como cantando tbm
