Motivos não faltam para se ter um Dia Internacional da Mulher no calendário. Elas, que já foram taxadas de "sexo frágil", mostraram ao longo de anos e anos, com muita luta, que são mais fortes e determinadas do que se imagina por aí.
Por meio de passeatas e manifestações, questões cruciais da sociedade, como o direto de voto e a diminuição da carga horário de trabalho, foram conquistadas por elas. Sempre com cautela e força de vontade, elas conseguiram alcançar uma posição antes impossível na história: chegaram ao mesmo patamar do que o sexo oposto, os homens.
Cada dia mais, as mulheres são donas do próprio nariz. Muitas já dominam cadeiras da presidência de multinacionais ou regem o próprio negócio.
