Quando eu instalo um programa e reinicio, fica lá no programa de instalação...normal...mas quando termina aparece essa maldita mensagem e a cpu continua trabalhando. Daí aparece essa mensagem umas 5 vezes e só depois inicia o windows...na primeira vez q aconteceu isso eu fiquei uma hora e meia esperando carregar! :S
alguém sabe oq q isso significa? Me ajudem, por favor.

cara não faço idéia mas tenta entra no site da microsoft e vc pode digitar isso no support center deles que é provável que vc ache como resolver..

procurei só por Windows could not upgrade the file aí vi que tinha essas porcentagens, as vezes é algo mto semelhante...

acho q é esse mesmo o problema. Não sei pq tava isso aí, é x mesmo...
mas a formatação da página tá estranha aqui, será q é só pq eu tô usando o firefox?

Method 2
1. Disable the System Restore feature and delete the contents of the _RESTORE folder. To do this, follow these steps:a. Right-click the My Computer icon on the Windows desktop, and then click Properties.
b. On the Performance tab, click File System.
c. On the Troubleshooting tab, click to select Disable System Restore.
d. Click Apply, click Close two times, and then click Yes to restart the computer.
2. Extract a new copy of the Wininit.exe file. To do this, follow these steps:a. Click Start, click Run, type MSCONFIG, and then click OK.
b. Click Extract File.
c. Type driver:\WINDOWS\wininit.exe in the box, and then click Start.
d. In the Restore from box, type driver:\WINDOWS\Options\Install or locate the Win9x directory on the Windows Millennium Edition CD-ROM.
e. Click OK and follow remaining prompts.
3. Verify that the problem that is mentioned in the "Symptoms" section has been resolved. If the problem is resolved, re-enable the System Restore feature. To do this, repeat step 1, but click to clear Disable System Restore in step 1c.

bom, fiz tudo isso aí. O "disable restore feature" já tava selecionado...
bom, agora só testando pra ver c deu certo. Mas isso eu só vou fazer quando tiver q instalar um novo programa, pq vai ser um porre se der errado...hauah

hahaha, era %1 e %2 mesmo! Eu li errado hahuaha.
Ainda demora pra carregar, mas não tanto quantos antes. Aparece essa mensagem só uma vez agora, depois carrega o Windows.
