BLUES FOR JIMI
Blues for Jimi is a live album and Blu-ray/DVD by the Northern Irish, Blues-Rock guitarist and singer, Gary Moore. The live performance was originally recorded on the 25th of October, 2007 at the London Hippodrome.
The performance features Gary Moore playing a selection of Jimi Hendrix classics. The concert was part of the launch for the Jimi Hendrix Live at Monterey album. It features a special guest appearance by Billy Cox and Mitch Mitchell

Por falar em Hendrix, esses dias ouvi por cima o album "novo" dele, com umas musicas ineditas. Tinha umas muito interessantes, vou pegar pra ouvir mais tarde.

Ele é fã declarado do Hendrix, tem um estilo parecido e já fez alguns tributos a ele. Acho que se ele ficasse sabendo ia querer tocar aí.

Conheço Gary Moore faz pouco tempo, uns 2 anos e meio talvez, e é um daqueles artistas que o cara fica eternamente triste por conhecer o trabalho e descobrir que já morreu sem menos ter a chance de sonhar em ir à um show hehe

Conheço Gary Moore faz pouco tempo
Conheço pouco... baixei o Still Got The Blues pra tirar a Still Got The Blues pro Conservatório, mas não ouvi muito... aí vi o cara tocando Red House no StratPack na época que ele morreu e ficou entre meus vídeos preferidos!!! Aí descobri esse por acaso... assisti inteiro e baixei o vídeo e os MP3!!! hueheuheuheuhue

Dentre uma das bandas dele, Skid Row de 1969-70' fica entre uma das minhas favoritas. Thin Lizzy também, se você ainda não ouviu, também é uma boa pedida hehe

Grande fã de Gary Moore desde o G Force. Gosto das fases Blues dele, mas os anos 1980 e os discos com o Ian Paice como baterista + Neil Murray no baixo são do caramba de bons. Até a fase dele com o Phil Lynott e o Cozy Powell são boas demais. Recomendo Corridors of Power, Run for Cover, Victims of the Future, Wild Frontier e After the War.
